That'll save you a lot of annoyance when playing them. I'd recommend playing all classes at least once in a random map before using them in the campaign, to get a feel for how they work. I really want to note down here that the campaigns are pretty difficult compared to random maps - not really beginner content. They had some mentality about the game that didn't make sense. Yeah I bought Age of Wonders 3 back a while ago. After all, they are pretty carefully balanced, which could be upset more than a bit by having other DLC's sometimes be there, and sometimes not. the main differences between the 2 games is that age of wonders 3 is more focused on tactical combat while endless legend is more focused on empire building. This is to give them the same experience regardless of whether or not you have them. No, the campaigns are unaffected by the other DLC's. I understand there are additional campaigns in the DLC, but will having the DLC alter the campaign in the original and deluxe edition of the game? For instance, if there is a change to the available structures, the economy or diplomacy system, would these be present in the campaign mode in the original game? Age of Wonders III is the latest in the 4X turn-based strategy game series, and after having spent 80 hours on it. I mainly only ever play the campaign mode in these games.
